Why did you choose to pursue a residency?
I chose to pursue a second year of residency to expand my knowledge within the world of oncology. I have developed a passion for oncology over the past year and knew that completing a second year of focused training would help me become an integral part of an oncology healthcare team.
What attracted you to the Froedtert & MCW pharmacy residency program?
One of the major aspects of this program that appealed to me was the variety of both inpatient and ambulatory experiences available. Having these specialized areas will allow me to learn about specific disease states in depth, and it will also help me define my ideal practice setting going forward. Additionally, the pharmacists in these areas have developed great relationships with the hematology/oncology providers, allowing me to have the best learning opportunities while working alongside them.
