What are the signs that someone is having a stroke? And what can be done?
The signs of a stroke are a sudden onset of any of these neurological symptoms (BE FAST).
- Balance problems
- Eyes (vision loss)
- Facial droop
- Arm weakness
- Speaking (slurred speech, unable to retrieve words)
- Terrible headache, sudden onset of head pain — Time to call 911 immediately!
What You Can Do to Reduce Your Risk of Stroke
