Research is important to patient care as discoveries lead to new ways to prevent, manage and treat cardiovascular disease.

Heart and vascular patients have the opportunity to participate in research and clinical trials of new treatment techniques, medications and devices.

Our heart and vascular physicians, including interventional radiologists, participate in significant local and national clinical research trials. We offer clinical trials in such areas as:

  • Structural heart disease
  • Coronary artery disease
  • Carotid artery disease
  • Cardiovascular imaging
  • Heart failure
  • Heart valve disease
  • Electrophysiology
  • Angiogenesis (development of new heart tissue)
  • Adult congenital heart disease

If you are interested in participating in a clinical trial or research study, talk to your doctor to see if you may be a candidate.
