Enhanced Security for Froedtert Hospital’s Ambulance Bay

A security enhancement will be introduced to the Ambulance Bay at Froedtert Hospital on Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2023, at 9 a.m.

  • A tiered-access system will be installed to gain access to the Emergency Department(ED) at Froedtert Hospital campus. The system will be monitored by our Security Operations Center.
  • EMS providers will gain access by using an issued security pin code that has been passed along to EMS service leadership. A video intercom will also be available to request access.
  • The access system will be located to the right of the ambulance bay entrance doors at the ED at Froedtert Hospital campus

Cardiac Catheterization Observations

The Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin health network is dedicated to improving processes and addressing quality care issues regarding the care of acute coronary syndrome (ACS) patients. As an essential part of the treatment team, we invite EMS professionals to observe cardiac catheterization procedures. Community Wellness

As an advocate for health and wellness in our communities, knowing the needs of people who live in these communities is vital. For this reason, every three years we complete a community health assessment to study the health needs in the communities we serve.
