Dancers share healing power of ballet with cancer patients at Froedtert
From CBS 58 — Accomplished dancer and a five-year breast cancer survivor Monica Isla brings the healing powers of ballet to others living with cancer, encouraging well-being through increased flexibility and decreased stress. Last week, Monica’s students, patients of the Froedtert & MCW Clinical Cancer Center, took part in a private class with Milwaukee Ballet’s second company to promote whole-person healing with ballet. Following the class, the dancers performed in the Clinical Cancer Center lobby. Beautiful!
