Froedtert & MCW Imaging Services is comprised of over 750 staff members. These staff include our direct clinical care staff, support staff, interns in training, leadership team, radiologists, research and imaging sciences staff, instructors/fellows, residents, and professional support staff. We perform services in our three hospitals and over 25 clinic or stand-alone imaging sites.

We perform more than 550,000 exams and procedures every year. As a health system, we have over 180 medical imaging systems for the following procedures.

Imaging Research

Froedtert & MCW imaging specialists are renowned for conducting research in radiology, including research with basic and advanced MRI, CT, informatics and many other programs. All research trials are geared to improving the quality of patient care by offering tools that are less invasive and provide more detailed information to physicians.

Request Your Imaging Records

For your convenience, you may request that we electronically transfer medical images to your provider. (Froedtert & MCW providers already have access to your medical images via the electronic medical record within our system.)

To request access to your medical image records, you may call 414-805-2909 (select option 1) or submit a written request. Please be sure to visit our Requesting Medical Records page to access a form for written requests and other important information on requesting your records.


For Health Care Professionals

Froedtert & MCW health network offers the ability to share radiology images between different providers and health systems.

  • To SEND images to our health network, you will use our image sharing platform, Ambra.
  • To REQUEST images from our health network, you will work with our Health Information Management Department. This group processes all requests for medical records, including radiology images.
